What does it mean that The Sprout Experience is a nonprofit?

Our purpose is NOT to make money, sell products, or serve the needs of shareholders. Instead, we have a board of directors whose sole responsibility is to help Sprout achieve our mission.

How does Sprout use our donations?

🌱 SCHOLARSHIP to help more kids have life-changing experiences. 100% of our immersive youth programs include students on full or partial scholarship!

🌱 SPONSORSHIP for our partners, such as the Reto Women's Group in Kenya, an advocate for women's rights in the Maasai community that offers annual scholarship to Maasai girls to attend school.

🌱 SUPPLIES AND SUPPORT for schools in our destination countries, including Olkirimatian Primary School in Kenya. With your support we have been able to donate school supplies, gym equipment, even solar lights and batteries to reduce reliance on dangerous kerosene lanterns.

🌱 OPERATIONAL COSTS including insurance, yearly fees, program development, web and technology costs.ose sole responsibility is to help Sprout achieve our mission.
