I was offered research positions in Tanzania and a Florida wildlife rehabilitation center. Without you, this would not be possible. Sprout set me apart from other students and helped me be recognized, which is amazing. I truly have “sprouted” because I have the most amazing mentors EVER!

My daughter was recently asked to give a speech about her life and her response was that her life BEGAN when she went traveled with Sprout! It was an experience that my daughter will carry with her for the rest of her life!

My time with Sprout affected me in ways I didn’t think possible. It made me realize that no matter what bad things happen in life and how hard it gets, we still have things to be grateful for and to look forward to. It made me want go on in this world and feel at peace.

The people that I took this journey with became my family. We camped together, ate meals together, and sat around the campfire under millions of stars together. We sang together, danced together, cried together. I learned to be happy.

Words cannot describe how thankful I am that Chloe had the opportunity to travel once again with the Sprout Experience! After the experience she had last year in Kenya, I knew how valuable the trip to Trinidad & Tobago would be. Her adventures in Trinidad & Tobago will be something she will never forget.

I can say 100% that what I experienced during my time with the Sprout Experience isn’t something that could be explained with pictures or even words. The Sprout Experience truly gave me a family forever and memories to last a lifetime

My time in Trinidad and Tobago was nothing less than a life changing experience. I was given the chance to meet incredible people that showed me how important it is to conserve and save our environment. All of the different individuals inspired me in so many ways to spread the message of the importance of keeping our environment healthy.

This trip was not an easy vacation, but an immersion into Trini culture and the natural world. On this trip we got to interact with seemingly untouched parts of nature that very few get to see. In a world that is so technology driven, experiencing such natural beauty was breathtaking. Being up close with massive Leatherback sea turtles and hiking through natural rainforests was fascinating .
— M.B.
My trip to Lale’enok was one of the greatest experiences I have ever had in my life. It really helped me to gain insight on a culture totally different from mine. It also taught me that there are so many different types of cultures out in the world that live in harmony.
— C.D.
It was truly one of the best experiences our daughters have had. They came home with a new passion for the environment and for building bridges to communities that are as culturally diverse from ours as one can imagine. It is not at all an exaggeration to say that their lives were changed and, through them, ours were changed as well.

Even though I read In The Dust of Kilimanjaro by David Western, a renowned conservationist, twice, it was only when I actually traveled to Kenya and experienced it myself and actually interacted with the Maasai tribe that I began to understand the book and its concepts on a whole different level. As if traveling to actual Maasai bomas and learning about their culture wasn’t enough, seeing and learning about the relationship between the Maasai tribe and the wildlife there first-hand, which is a tangible example of coexistence, a cutting edge method in conservation, was mind-blowing.
